The Chick-fil-A Breakfast Guide

If you’re on your way to school or the office, it’s always nice to stop over at Chick-fil-A for your breakfast on the go. Here are some of the best options you have for breakfast once you’re there:
Bacon, Egg & Cheese Muffin
Having an English muffin for breakfast is always a safe and popular option, which is why it’s a classic. It fills you up, and you get terrific flavors along the way. Finish it up with some coffee, and you’re good to go.
Sure, it may seem like a rather safe choice. It might even seem like you can always get your bacon, egg, and cheese muffin from anywhere. Every place does give you the same standard features.
There’s the muffin dusted with cornmeal, the folded egg, and the generic slice of American cheese. Part of the reason why this muffin is so popular is that you really have to work hard to screw the order up.
But at Chick-fil-A, you don’t really get the “standard” English muffin. That’s because the bacon isn’t standard. It’s excellent. The Applewood-smoked bacon pieces are quite ample, so you get a lot of flavors to go with the sense of fullness. These thick cuts of bacon stand well above the puny, thin slices of bacon you’ll find in the other muffins.
Hash Browns
Everyone knows that the waffle fries option is the most popular item on the entire Chick-fil-A menu. Heck, for some people it’s even good enough for breakfast. But in some places, it means a longer wait. It’s not readily available because they’re using the fryers for the hash browns.
The hash browns are just more traditional for breakfast, and it’s not as if it’s a bad choice if you’re looking for some potato goodness. The golden-brown exterior looks inviting, and it’s nice and crunchy on the outside. Take a bite, and the inside is soft and steamy.
It’s just perfect, especially for breakfast. The salt level is also just right, and the flavor goes nicely with your iced tea or lemonade. Or even with your iced coffee. The hash browns cost only $1.60 according to PriceListo, so it’s not exactly expensive, either. Dip these into the Polynesian sauce, and everything’s all right.
Chick-n-Minis
An order costs more than five bucks, which may be annoying when you’re holding one of these tiny sandwiches. But then you get 4 of these, so it’s not bad. And then you get a taste, and you feel like you got every bit of value for your money.
The flavor is just fantastic, and it’s a great way to start the day. You have the tiny nuggets of salty white chicken meat, and then they’re tucked in between the tasty honey butter-glazed yeast rolls. If you have to wake up early, then this breakfast will at least let you feel better about it.
Chicken Biscuit
It’s understandable if you’ve tried out the chicken biscuit option for breakfast at other places, and afterward you swear to yourself that you’ll never have it again. In most places, they give you a chicken breast filet that’s just not seasoned enough, on a biscuit that has been made without any sort of thought.
But “other places” don’t include Chick-fil-A, not when it involves chicken. Here, the chicken breast is thick and has been carefully marinated and painstakingly seasoned. The flavor is just outstanding. Then you have the buttermilk biscuit that you immediately know has been made with love and care. It just tastes much better here.
Sausage, Egg, & Cheese on a Biscuit
Okay, again we have the terrific biscuit with this option. The bread alone is worth the visit to Chick-fil-A, but that doesn’t mean they let up with the rest of the ingredients. This may not have the tasty pork goodness of the Applewood-smoked bacon, but the sausage is a perfectly good alternative.
Here, the sausage patty is also nicely thick, and you get a great balance between the lean meat and the fat for that taste you’re looking for. The flavor also nicely soaks into the biscuit, but without the grease getting into your hands as you enjoy this. With the basic folded egg and American cheese, you’ve got a breakfast you can rely on.
Breakfast Filet
Get this if you want a substantial meal to start the day, even if it doesn’t take long to finish this sandwich. In between the soft and buttery bread, you get a bed of lettuce, a couple of large tomato slices, a substantial piece of chicken breast, your standard slice of American cheese, and finally the Applewood bacon on top.
You can opt for the standard fried chicken with the delicious golden-fried breading, or go with the grilled chicken if you want something “healthier”. Either way, the chicken is just tasty and bursting with flavor!
